Icmeler is just outside Marmaris about 10 minutes drive, Icmeler has a long beautiful beach and is slightly more quiet from Marmaris. Its preferred by families and older tourists who wants to enjoy the beach and bars instead of the nosier night life in Marmaris. There are many hotels in Icmeler including 5 star, all inclusive and smaller self-catering apartments. There is many bars restaurant with entertaining at nights which welcomes kids also. The closest airport to Marmaris is Dalaman Airport which is about 1 hour and 25 minutes and the next closest airport is Bodrum Milas Airport which is 2 hours away.
